The eFoil trial is a private session, guided by an instructor, in the calm waters of the North of Mauritius. No board-sports experience is needed: most beginners take off during their very first session.

Can you rent an eFoil in Mauritius?
Efoil Mauritius is not a rental company and does not run hourly tourist rentals. We are the exclusive PWRFOIL dealer in Mauritius, and our sessions are private, guided trials.
The distinction is not just wording: it changes how the session runs. We do not simply put you on the water. We set the gear up for your build, explain how the board behaves and why, and answer your questions about the models, battery range and maintenance.
That is the try-before-you-buy principle: the Rs 7,000 for the session is fully deducted from the price of your board if you decide to get equipped.
The aim is that you leave knowing two things: whether eFoiling is right for you, and which of the Revo Pro, Revo Flow or Raptor suits the way you ride. You are of course free to book a session purely for the experience, with no immediate intention of buying, but it is this advisory approach, rather than rental, that shapes how we work.

The pace adapts to you. Here is the usual progression, from briefing to first flight.
Briefing and gear
An introduction to the board, the waterproof remote and the safety rules. You are fitted with a life jacket and a helmet with intercom, which keeps you in contact with the instructor throughout the session.
First sensations
Lying on the board, you learn to meter the acceleration and get comfortable with the speed. Beginner mode automatically limits the power.
On your knees
You move to a kneeling position to steady your stance and find your balance on the water.
Standing up
The first transition to standing. The sensation of gliding becomes markedly more intense.
Flight
Past a certain speed, the foil generates enough lift to raise the board clear of the water. This is the moment everyone remembers: the silence, and the feeling of flying.
Free ride
You ride more independently, with guidance matched to your progress so you can link turns and build confidence.
What we provide, what you bring

The PWRFOIL board matched to your build and level, the waterproof remote, a life jacket and a helmet with intercom. Plus an instructor with you from start to finish.
What to bring
Swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. You need to be able to swim and be at least 12 years old; for minors, parental consent is required.
Where we meet
Our sessions take place mainly at Mont Choisy, our main spot, with Grand Baie as the secondary one. The choice depends on the tide, the wind and your level : we settle it together when you book.
